Eden Valley

South Australia, Australia

Some early settler thought this place was heavenly enough to carve "Eden" into a tree. Surveyors went with it and called this part of South Australia Eden Valley. It’s often recognised with the Barossa Valley as "Barossa", but Eden Valley has its own idiosyncrasies, notably its cool-climate wines, both shiraz and riesling. Not to mention the legendary Hill of Grace, produced by winemaking royalty Stephen and Prue Henschke. Wineries located in Eden Valley include Fernfield Wines (with artisan chocolate), Flaxman, Peter Seppelt Wines, Yalumba, Edenmae Estate, Suffield Wines, Pewsey Vale and Thorn-Clarke – to name a few. Taste Eden Valley is a one-stop shop in Angaston, showcasing Eden Valley wines. See kangaroos, soak up the Australian bush, plot some scenic drives.
