A drink before dinner? Natalie and Simon Forsyth opened their wine bar in January 2014 and it has become a wine haven. More than 30 local wines are offered from a bank of Enomatics with daily educational wine flights assembled by me (I act as wine consultant and hold my Orange wine tastings and courses there). Ferment is also the cellar door for local labels Cooks Lot and Montoro, plus Carillion Estate, the Orange vineyard owned by Davis Premium Vineyards with the wines made by the 2014 Gourmet Traveller WINE Young Winemaker Medallist Gwyn Olsen from the Hunter Valley.
